RESUMO

Introducción: los médicos han estado vinculados al proceso revolucionario en cada etapa histórica del pueblo cubano, como demuestra la incorporación de numerosos galenos a las filas insurrectas mambisas y más contemporáneamente a las tropas rebeldes, constituyendo el Cuerpo de Sanidad Militar. Una muestra fehaciente de ello lo constituye la figura de Manuel Fajardo Rivero, Piti, más cariñosamente. Objetivo: valorar a Manuel Piti Fajardo Rivero a partir de su dimensión personal y labor como médico guerrillero y revolucionario convencido, desde el testimonio de quienes lo conocieron. Método: se realizó un análisis documental por vía manual y también automatizada, empleando buscadores de confianza como Google académico y SciELO, sobre el médico rebelde Manuel Piti Fajardo Rivero. Se consultaron 25 fuentes bibliográficas en idioma español, de las cuales el 60 % correspondió a los últimos cinco años. Desarrollo: se presenta al joven alegre, inquieto, hijo devoto y padre amoroso, al médico de vocación y al audaz combatiente en los días de clandestinidad y guerrilla, que brindó su aporte a la curación de heridos y enfermos, pero también al logro de la victoria definitiva tras la cual desempeñó tareas de impacto en la construcción de la sociedad soñada por los cubanos. Consideraciones finales: Piti Fajardo fue un excepcional revolucionario y ser humano, noble, de principios firmes y con alto sentido de la justicia y amor al prójimo, como expresaran con enfoque anecdótico quienes lo conocieron. Su nombre será siempre llevado con cariño


Introduction: doctors have been connected with the revolutionary process in every historical stage of the Cuban people, demonstrated by the incorporation of several of them to the Cuban independence fighters, named Mambises, and closer in the time to the rebel troops (guerrillas), constituting the Military Health Corps. An example of this is Manuel Fajardo Rivero, more affectionately called Piti. Objective: to value the personal dimension, work as a doctor in the (guerrilla) and as a great revolutionary of Manuel Piti Fajardo Rivero, from the testimony of those who knew him. Method: a manual and automated documentary analysis was carried out about the warrior doctor Manuel Piti Fajardo Rivero, using reliable search engines such as academic Google and SciELO. Twenty-five Spanish-language bibliographic sources were consulted, 60% of them corresponded to the last five years. Development: is presented the happy and restless young man, devoted son and loving father, the doctor by vocation and the daring warrior in the days of clandestinely and the guerrilla warfare, who contributed to the healing of the wounded and sick people from the battle, but also contributed to the achievement of the definitive victory after which he carried out tasks of impact in the construction of the society dreamed by the Cuban people. Final considerations: Piti Fajardo was an exceptional revolutionary and human being, with good feelings, a principles person and with a high sense of justice and love for others, as expressed with anecdotal focus by those who knew him. His name will always be carried with affection

Introducción: Baraguá representa la intransigencia revolucionaria del pueblo cubano y en este hecho se demostraron muchos de los valores humanos que siguen hoy los médicos cubanos en su diaria labor. Objetivos: caracterizar el contexto histórico de la Protesta de Baraguá y explicar su influencia en la labor de los médicos cubanos en la actualidad, utilizándose el método lógico-histórico y analítico-sintético. Métodos: se emplearon los métodos histórico-lógico y analítico-sintético para analizar los documentos y bibliografías sobre el tema. Resultados: se presenta un acercamiento a la vigencia que tuvo, tiene y tendrá el pensamiento y accionar de Antonio Maceo, junto a los patriotas que lo acompañaron, en el 138 aniversario de la Protesta de Baraguá. La contribución de su pensamiento revolucionario, como fuente inagotable de lecciones, revive el principio de que el futuro de la patria cubana será un eterno Baraguá que incluye el destino de nuestra práctica médica cotidiana. Conclusiones: los médicos cubanos honran el ejemplo de Antonio Maceo, cumplen con su labor diaria y las disímiles tareas que en materia de internacionalismo les son otorgadas. La disciplina, preparación y constancia de los trabajadores de la salud cubanos, unidos a sus principios de solidaridad, humanismo, valor y compromiso son el legado de los patriotas que como en Baraguá, hicieron frente a las injusticias hacia la patria cubana.(AU)

Results: An approach to the validity that the thought and action of Antonio Maceo have had, have and will have, along with those of the patriots who accompanied him, on the 138th anniversary of the Protest of Baraguá. The contribution of his revolutionary thought, as an inexhaustible source of lessons, revives the principle that the future of the Cuban fatherland will be an eternal Baraguá that includes the fate of our daily medical practice. Conclusions: Cuban doctors honor the example of Antonio Maceo, fulfill their daily work and the different tasks oriented in the field of internationalism. The discipline, training and perseverance of Cuban health workers, together with their principles of solidarity, humanism, courage and commitment, are the legacy of the patriots who, as in Baraguá, faced injustice against the Cuban homeland(AU)

RESUMO

O artigo tem a finalidade específica de apresentar os objetivos, consequências e dúvidas em relação ao programa criado pelo Governo Federal denominado Mais Médicos. Através da legislação trabalhista, mostrar e desmistificar a forma a qual os médicos estrangeiros foram contratados pelo Governo. Aspectos apresentados apontaram que as contratações destes médicos para o programa surtiram indagações entre eles, a hipótese que os trabalhos realizados no território brasileiro condizem ao trabalho escravo, suposição afastada por falta de comprovações concretas. Conclui-se, que o programa foi benéfico, havendo melhoria no atendimento do sistema de saúde do País e, mediante o prestígio desta parceria, Brasil e Cuba possam estender a projetos futuros de mesma finalidade e ou a outros setores carentes de suporte. São indicadas vantagens do programa Mais Médicos, a preferência pelos médicos cubanos, a importância da parceria do Governo Federal e Cuba e a regulamentação desses profissionais dentro da Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho-CLT.


The article has the specific purpose of presenting the goals, consequences and questions about the program created by the Federal Government called More Doctors. By labor laws, and show demystify the form which foreign doctors were hired by the government. Presented aspects pointed out that hiring these doctors for the program been unsuccessful inquiries among them, the hypothesis that the work carried out in Brazil are consistent slave labor, guess away for lack of concrete evidence. It is concluded that the program was beneficial, with improved care of the country's health system and by the prestige of this partnership, Brazil and Cuba may extend to future projects with the same purpose and or other support needy sectors. More advantages are indicated the medical program, the preference for Cuban doctors, the importance of partnership between the Federal Government and Cuba and the regulation of these professionals within the Consolidation of Laws Labour-CLT.} ien
